(EDINBURG) – From competing in his first tournament up to this past weekend’s tournament, Donna High golfer Jonathan Del Bosque has shown a ton of improvement.
At the Donna ISD Tournament, Del Bosque completed the two-day tournament with a total score of 197 which placed him 28th in the boys’ division.
Ever since that tournament, Del Bosque spent the whole month working on a few things to help improve his game.
What a difference a month makes.
Del Bosque looked solid at the Edcouch-Elsa Invitational this past Friday and Saturday as he shot an 88 on day one and a 93 on day two.
Thanks to his total, Del Bosque placed 16th overall with a total score of 181.
As a team, the Redskins placed 5th with a total team score of 840.
On the girls’ side, Audrey Cantu was the lone Bravettes player to compete and she had an impressive finish.
Cantu placed 14th overall with a total score of 192 and shot a 92 on both day one and day two.
