(DONNA) – After the first three quarters of play, things looked bleak for Donna High as they trailed by 13.
Lucky for them, there are four quarters in a basketball game.
The Bravettes put together their best quarter in the fourth as they outscored Nikki Rowe 17-9 while trying to mount a comeback.
Unfortunately, the deficit was a little too much to overcome as the Lady Warriors escaped with a 46-41 win on Saturday afternoon.
Jovanna Solis shined for Nikki Rowe as she scored a game high 29 points on the day.
As for Donna, they were led by Miranda Sandoval who had a team high 10 points.
