(DONNA) — Ever since transferring to Donna High, Jennifer Garcia has been on a complete tear while competing in tennis.

In fact, Garcia has a perfect record in her two years while playing under head coach Ramiro Solis.

Garcia’s current record stands at 14-0 in district play while playing at Donna High over the past two years.

Garcia went 7-0 last year and this fall, the junior also went 7-0.

Because of her dominant play, it was only fitting that Garcia would be named the Girls Most Valuable Player in 32-5A when the All-District list was released.

This was the second straight year that Garcia was unanimously selected as MVP in District 32-5A.

Garcia and her teammates led Donna High to their first Area Tournament appearance for the first time in four years.
Garcia was joined by two of her teammates at the top of the list as Julio Lopez was named the Boys Newcomer of the Year while Perla De Leon was selected as the Girls Newcomer of the Year.
