(DONNA) – Ever since suffering their district opening loss to Mercedes, the Donna Bravettes basketball team has gotten on a little bit of a winning streak.
Donna High pushed their 32-5A record to 3-1 on Tuesday night thanks to a 76-35 win over Brownsville Porter.
The Bravettes offense was definitely on from the start as they scored 18 points in the opening quarter to take a six-point lead going onto the second.
Their most productive quarter came in the third as Donna High scored 25 points which gave them a 60-28 lead entering the final frame.
Donna High had four girls score in double figures and was led by Celeste Mata who finished with 14.
Next up for the Bravettes is a date against Donna North on Friday night.
